All features above are designed to help you build, automate, and share ideas more easily within the Mindustry ecosystem. We do not charge fees for these services, and Mindustry Tool does not operate as a commercial marketplace. We do not run integrated e-commerce or commercial advertising on the website.

2) Accounts and Sign-In

You are not required to create an account to view public content on Mindustry Tool. You may browse schematics, maps, and documentation without signing in. However, certain features (such as uploading content, creating free servers, posting, or commenting) require membership.

• Sign-in Method (Discord Login)
  Mindustry Tool uses Discord authentication. By selecting “Sign in with Discord” and completing Discord’s authorization, you become a member of Mindustry Tool. Using Discord for login also means you must comply with Discord’s Terms and related policies.

• Age Requirement
  Because Discord requires users to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Discord in your country), registering via Discord confirms you meet that requirement. If you are under the required age, you may not create an account on Mindustry Tool.

• Account Security
  You are responsible for securing your Discord account and any access to Mindustry Tool. Do not share login tokens or sensitive account information. Although Mindustry Tool does not use a separate password, you are responsible for all activity performed under your account after signing in. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify our administrators immediately (via our Discord support channels or the contact methods listed below).

• Profile Information
  On your first login, Mindustry Tool may retrieve basic profile information from Discord (such as your username and avatar). This information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. You may update your avatar and banner on Mindustry Tool after signing in. Profile images must comply with our content rules (see “Prohibited Content” below).

3) User Responsibilities and Conduct

When using Mindustry Tool, you agree to follow these rules:

• Follow the Law and These Terms
  You will use the service for lawful purposes only. You may not use Mindustry Tool for harassment, fraud, unauthorized system access, or any illegal activity. You also agree to follow these Terms and any community rules or guidelines published by Mindustry Tool.

• No Impersonation or Abuse
  You may not impersonate another person or claim to be part of the Mindustry Tool staff/admin team. You may not access or use someone else’s Discord account without permission. You may not misuse the platform to harm others or disrupt services. Prohibited behavior includes (but is not limited to): exploiting bugs to damage the site, sharing malware/viruses, spamming repetitive content, using scripts/bots in ways that overload the system or provide unfair advantage, or attempting unauthorized access to Mindustry Tool servers or data.

• Responsibility for Your Content and Interactions
  You are responsible for all content you upload or post (including schematics, maps, images, comments, etc.). You must interact respectfully with others. Harassment, threats, and abusive language are not allowed. Keep discussions civil and respectful even when disagreeing.

If you violate these rules, Mindustry Tool may suspend or terminate your access without notice. We may also remove content that violates these Terms or harms the community.

4) User-Provided Content

“User Content” includes anything you or other users upload or post to Mindustry Tool, such as schematics, maps, logic code, plugins, guides, comments, profile images, server names/descriptions, and related materials. By submitting User Content, you agree to the following:

• Intellectual Property and Permissions
  You must own the content you upload or have all necessary rights and permissions to share it. If your content includes third-party assets (e.g., mod content, images, or data created by others), you are responsible for ensuring that sharing is lawful and permitted. You are fully responsible for any copyright or ownership claims relating to your uploads.
  (Example: do not upload schematics/maps copied from others without permission; do not upload copyrighted assets extracted from a mod if doing so violates the mod author’s license or policy.)

• License Granted to Mindustry Tool
  You keep ownership of your User Content. However, by uploading content to Mindustry Tool, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and make technical modifications as necessary to operate and improve the platform (e.g., format conversion, generating preview images, map-from-image rendering, etc.). We may also feature content in platform-related community promotion (e.g., highlighting notable community creations).

• Community Sharing
  Unless you use a feature that restricts visibility (if available), content you upload may be publicly visible to all users. Others may view, download, use, and modify schematics/maps you share for gameplay purposes. Mindustry Tool does not impose strict restrictions on reuse of public community content unless you attach a specific license.
  In the future, we may add tools that allow creators to choose licensing options (e.g., Creative Commons). By default, public content should be assumed to be shared openly within the Mindustry community.

• No Guarantee of Permanent Storage
  We will try to store user content long-term, but we do not guarantee permanent hosting. Content may be removed if it violates these Terms or is not appropriate for the platform. Content may also be lost due to technical issues or service shutdown. You should keep backups of important content. When possible, we will provide notice before removing non-violating content for technical reasons.

5) Prohibited Content and Moderation

Mindustry Tool aims to maintain a healthy and creative community. The following content is strictly prohibited:

• Illegal Content
  Any content that violates applicable laws (local, platform, or international) is prohibited, including content that promotes extremist violence, terrorism, illegal trade, or instructions for criminal activity.

• Pornographic / Explicit Sexual Content or Excessive Violence
  Do not post pornographic material, explicit sexual content, or overly graphic violence. Mindustry Tool is used by people of different ages, so content must remain broadly appropriate.

• Hate Speech and Harassment
  Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups is prohibited. Harassment, bullying, threats, and targeted abuse are not allowed.

• Content Violating Others’ Rights
  Do not upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. Do not post personal information of others (such as addresses, phone numbers, or identity details) without consent.

• Commercial Advertising and Spam
  Mindustry Tool is not a place for commercial promotion. Do not post advertisements, marketing content, or profit-driven commercial links. Spamming (repeated posts/comments, engagement farming, or creating multiple accounts to fake activity) is prohibited.

• Malware or Cheating/Hacking Tools
  Do not share malware, viruses, or harmful code. Cheating/hacking tools (including cheat mods or scripts) are not allowed to be hosted or promoted on the platform.

• Other Inappropriate Content
  Any content deemed inappropriate, harmful, misleading, unrelated, or disruptive to Mindustry Tool’s purpose may be removed at the discretion of the moderation team.

Moderation Process

Mindustry Tool administrators and moderators may review, edit, restrict, or remove content that violates these rules or negatively impacts the community. We use proactive moderation and also rely on community reports. We cannot pre-review 100% of user submissions, so we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of user-provided content. If you see content that violates these Terms, please report it to us via the official Mindustry Tool Discord support channels.

6) Mindustry Tool Ownership and Copyright

• Platform Ownership
  Except for User Content, all elements of Mindustry Tool — including (but not limited to) website code, UI design, logos, the “Mindustry Tool” name, databases, and official guides created by our team — are owned by Mindustry Tool or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from these assets without our written permission.

• Mindustry Is a Third-Party Trademark
  Mindustry is developed by Anuken. Mindustry Tool is a community project and is not owned, operated, sponsored, or officially endorsed by Anuken. Any Mindustry-related trademarks, logos, and in-game imagery appearing on Mindustry Tool are used only to support the player community. All rights to Mindustry belong to their respective owners. Your use of Mindustry-related content must comply with the game developer’s terms.

7) Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Service Provided “As Is”
  Mindustry Tool is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet all expectations. You understand that outages, bugs, technical limitations, or unexpected issues may occur. We make no express or implied warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  Example: We do not guarantee free servers will run 24/7 or never lose data; we do not guarantee community shared schematics/maps will work perfectly on your game version.

• Limitation of Liability
  To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mindustry Tool and its operators will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, such as data loss, device damage, or other losses. We are not responsible for user-posted content (though we will work to remove violating content when found), server issues, or harm caused by third-party mods/plugins.

• Third-Party Links and Content
  The site may contain links to third-party services (e.g., Discord, GitHub, wikis). These links are provided for convenience. Mindustry Tool is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

• Indemnification
  You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mindustry Tool and related parties (including administrators, maintainers, volunteers, partners, and contributors) from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your User Content.

8) Changes to the Service and These Terms

Mindustry Tool is continuously evolving. We may update, change, or discontinue features as needed. For example, we may add new features, adjust limits (such as the free server limit), or remove functionality when necessary. We will try to provide advance notice of major changes via the website or the official Discord.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of the document and may post a notice. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically. Continued use of Mindustry Tool after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree, you must stop using the service.

9) Termination

You may stop using Mindustry Tool at any time. If you want to delete your account or content, contact the administrators (via Discord or email). We will do our best to accommodate your request where feasible; however, public content may still exist if others have already downloaded or referenced it.

Mindustry Tool may suspend or terminate your access, or discontinue part or all of the service, at any time when necessary. Reasons may include repeated violations, legal requirements, or force majeure / operational impossibility. When possible, we will notify users. Upon termination, any rights and licenses granted to you end, and you must stop using the service.

10) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed and interpreted under applicable law. If a dispute arises relating to these Terms or the service, both parties will first attempt to resolve it in good faith through discussion and informal resolution. If that fails, disputes may be brought to the competent authority or court with jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
